As advertised... heavy lil' dude... but then again, that really isn't such a bad thing. Definitely my best built filter.

Bought this to protect my very expensive Mamiya rangefinder lenses. I guess the best thing I can say is that I cannot tell the difference between filter on or off, comparing film side by side.

Bought this as protection on my first L lens to be used for lens covering in addition to lens hood. With a decent kickback from [@] this was almost free with the cost of the lens.

Comments about B + W B + W 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Haze Multi Coated (2C) Glass Filter #010:

In my opinion the B+W MRC coating is better for digital SLRs than the old film multi-coatings. The result is less flare and better acuity and color fidelity. i use the MRC Pro filters on all my Canon L lenses and many of my non-L lenses. The coating resists scratching better than any of the other multi-coated filters I have tried.

Comments about B + W B + W 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Haze Multi Coated (2C) Glass Filter #010:

I have been consistently very impressed with B+W filters. The optics and construction are top notch. The only negative comment I have is that the second 67mm UV filter I purchased doesn't work very well with the lens cap of my Pentax DA* 60-250mm. The cap sticks when attempting to remove it. I haven't had any problems with the exact same size filter and lens cap on my DA* 50-135mm lens, which works flawlessly. Not sure if the cap or filter threads are to blame. I may try some swapping of parts to see if I can get both sets to work great.

Still, overall, very happy with the filter.

The B + W line of filters is a little more expensive but is well worth it. I use them for both Leica M and Mamiya 7 lenses and I feel B + W filters match the quality of these lenses.

Have sworn to always use B+W filters ever since one of these saved 2 $1K lens when I fell on wet rocks in the rainforest: I'm convinced the strong brass mounting ring prevented the lens from getting hit -- the filter broke, but lens was (and still is) fine.

I bought this product for my Nikon D80 and it has offered me much more than i had expected from it.
On top of that it is made in Germany. Products from Germany are always good, well built, sturdy and perfect.

Comments about B + W B + W 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Haze Multi Coated (2C) Glass Filter #010:

I haven't yet decided I really need to have these UV filters on my lenses -- I put them on as "protection" for the expensive lenses and never take them off. But I haven't yet seen any effect that would cause me to need to take them off, either.

Metal finish of the B+W rings is superior to that of other brands that use anodized aluminum.

I bought this filter with my 16-85mm lense, and it is awesome. It's beautifully crafted, with excellent glass and a very solid build. It does a wonderful job of protecting my gear. After using this filter, I think I would have a hard time using anything else.
