Comments about Hoya Hoya 72mm DMC PRO1 Digital Multi-Coated UV (Ultra Violet) Filter.:

I've been using Hoya filters for several years now, and after shopping around and comparing prices and products, I continue to return to them because of their consistently smooth fit to lenses and the transparency of their UV, Clear, and colored filters. The DMC Pro 1 filter is just one in their ongoing development of excellent products. Anti-reflective coatings on this filter makes it (and haze) disappear, and I know that my lens has some first line protection from harm.

Comments about Hoya Hoya 72mm DMC PRO1 Digital Multi-Coated UV (Ultra Violet) Filter.:

On my 18-200mm Nikkor, it takes a little for the filter thread to catch the lens mounnt, but once in there, it stays. The constructions feels flimsy to me but I didn't expect anything special for a filter that is mostly used for lens protection.

Comments about Hoya Hoya 72mm DMC PRO1 Digital Multi-Coated UV (Ultra Violet) Filter.:

I noted both the strong mount and loose mount because initially it did not seem to want to thread and seat itself properly, but once set, seems to be very sturdy. Otherwise, it's working as good insurance for my lens.
