Great filter. Better than my Tiffen 77uv and Zeikos filters. Multicoating helps, as I took the same shots with this filter and saw the glare reflections disappear. That's good enough for me.

I got it to protect my Sigma 10-20. It's on a thin frame so there is no vignetting with this lens. It's very well made, easy to clean and improves the colors on the photographs a bit. It's definitely good value and I am happy that I got it. If I had more money to spend I would get a better one and maybe in the future I will, but in the meantime this one will serve me well.

Good price for great quality. No matter what some photographers disagree about always having a filter on a lens, I say DO IT. You never know when that little tap on the end of the lens will happen. With the filter, it takes the blow and protects the lens.

This one also helps with UV and haze on my long lens.

I bought this mainly as a protector for my 70-200 F/2.8L IS lens, and it's doing a great job with that. Very clear glass, cuts the haze without really affecting anything else.

This filter is a good choice for UV reduction and lens protection. I always put a UV filter on a lens as soon as it comes out of the box.....and you should too! I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 because there are higher quality filters available. They are, however, much more expensive and offer no real benefit for the intended use. This filter is protecting the front element on my Canon EF 100-400L.

We just bought a Canon 24-70mm L lens; of course with such an expensive lens you want to do what you can to protect it, so a UV filter such as this is a natural choice. The construction is solid, the glass of high quality and it comes from a reputable manufacturer. It's really a pretty passive piece of equipment, but as such things go it's recommended. This is the second one we've bought, the first being mounted to our 17-40L.
