I bought this filter for my Sanyo xacti.....it works fine, but the lens cap does not fit that well on to the filter.......the filter itself works great.

I leave it on at all times to protect the lens. I have a digital camera so I have not noticed any UV filter effect (And I don't shoot many landscapes).
