I bought the UV-1 Haze 1 to protect my camera's lens. My camera is a Panasonic DMC-FZ7. I would strongly recommend getting a protective lens if you have a camera with a zoom motor. as I found out, when I zoom the lens without a filter on, dust is vaccumed inside!!
Overall, I would recommend getting this product, (don't be fooled by the price, it IS a great filter).
