Comments about Tiffen Tiffen 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Wide Angle Thin Glass Filter:
I bought this to protect my 18-105 lens and that is what it does. It's like it isn't even there. What more can I say? A cheap way to protect your lens.

Comments about Tiffen Tiffen 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Wide Angle Thin Glass Filter:
Seems odd that the Tiffen 65mm UV filter doesn't take and hold a lens cap. So it's not used to protect the front lens.
Comments about Tiffen Tiffen 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Wide Angle Thin Glass Filter:
Pentax lens caps do not 'catch' with this filter and fall off easily.

Comments about Tiffen Tiffen 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Wide Angle Thin Glass Filter:
It does what it should, protects the lens and filters light - but I can't use my standard Canon or Tamron lens caps with it. Other than that, it's solidly constructed and does what it's supposed to do.

Comments about Tiffen Tiffen 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Wide Angle Thin Glass Filter:
Being accustomed to seeing the barrel effects at times since I’m pushing the lens when I should have changed it (if I could) due to adding extra filter(s), so I wanted a "very thin" filter. This filter does a great job at that and the UV but… Use this filter and you can’t put the lens cap on it. As such, I purchased a second UV filter that can accept the lens cap. When I have a barrel effect problem and I need to illuminate as well as the UV, I use this filter.

Comments about Tiffen Tiffen 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Wide Angle Thin Glass Filter:
I'm sure it's a great filter, but I mainly bought it as a lens protector for my lens. Unfortunately--as one reviewer has already stated--its design doesn't allow much room for the lens cap to clip into, so I can't keep it on my lens. For this reason I give it 3 stars.

You put it on your lens and you forget it; that's all simple.
Comments about Tiffen Tiffen 67mm UV (Ultra Violet) Wide Angle Thin Glass Filter:
Its an excellent product for the price. It does all you can expect it to do and would buy it again. Only down side, is with the thin mount, the Nikon lens cap will not stay attached. This is not a problem with Tiffen alone, but can be a problem with all "wide angle" thin mount filters.
