This is my second one for the same lens. Lens was dropped from about five feet onto solid concrete. Filter took some serious punishment but the lens came through without a scratch. Also works great to keep dust and moisture off the lens. If you have an expensive lens, this is the protective filter you want.

A fantastic piece of gear and well worth the money. It feels solid and is made very strong, and comes in a safe little carry pouch.
It's the most crystal clear filter I've purchased from Tiffen yet.
I HIGHLY suggest it, even if to only protect your lens from dust, scratches, etc.
