I was disapppointed that the recommended filter (thin) would not take the lens cap I bought at the same time from you with the lens.
I went out and bought a filter that would take the lens cap.
This is my second disappointment out of two orders with your company. Previously I ordered a filter for protection and got a polarizing filter instead. So I went elsewhere and bought another filter.

I bought this filter for use on a Nikon 18-200 general purpose zoom. It is more filter than is needed for that lens, as I found after purchase that it is extra thin and purpose designed for avoiding distortion at extreme wide angles. When mounted, it keeps me from using the Nikon Lens Cap that came with the lens. The external threads are so thin that the lens cap can't grip onto it. I bought a less expensive Hoya with thicker threads, and can't tell any difference in the photos from this lens, even at the 18mm position. Net, if you are a pro, and know what you need, go for it - it is extremely well made. But for us average bears just looking to protect a lens, it's overkill.

Stickly ued for Protection when using the Zuiko 11-22mm Wide Angle Zoom Lense. Lense cap will not attach to front of lense with this filter attached. Save your money.
The lens cap for my Nikon 18-200 doesn't fully sea in the filter.
Like this better than the more expensive filters. Found those harder to keep clean.
I found the for the Nikon D-40 the lens cap and the lens hood would not mount properly. Next time I will buy only Nikon filters.

Does not accept a standard Nikon lens cap. This should be noted in the product listing- especially when reccomended as a companionproduct to the Nikon 18-200 zoom lens!
