Tiny price for a good bit of photographic "tweakers." Not strictly necessary for a light, but it helps open up possibilities when setting up lighting schemes. A cool bit of color fun for a strobe that can add extra punch to your set-up.

After reading other reviews, I was a little concerned about buying these but figured for the price, it was worth a shot. I have no idea why others had trouble getting them to stay on. They screw on just as does the clear one that comes with the slave.

These work great. I was worried when I read some of the reviews but for about $10.00 for two sets I couldn't pass on them. When they arrived today the first thing I did was check to see if they fit the two Adorama slaves that I also bought. They screwd on perfectly, just like the clear ones that come on the slaves. I put them in some light stands and fired (two) of them onto a black background and was absolutely impressed with the results. It went from black , to red, blue, green and or yellow. I also shot them through two white shoot through umbrellas, very nice results. I can't wait to try them on an all white background. Try mixing the colors for a cool effect.

Would be a nice addition to the ac slave flash if it would fit. It is possible to force it on but don't count on it staying on.

ATTENTION ADORAMA!!! Why haven't you changed this description yet?? This set of gels does not fit the AC slave or master. I figured since time had passed since the last reviews, surely Adorama has noticed this problem and fixed it. I was wrong; I have the same problems as everyone else. Adorama should either fix the products where they will fit correctly or fix the description to say that they don't fit the flash. The gels work fine when you use tape to hold them on.

Doesn't screw on securely. A small strip of tape fixes that. Be careful when its in your bag. I've cracked 1. For the price it does a great job and is pretty much not a big deal if they get trashed. I use it to change background colors

They do not fit my common fill flash well and from the ad copy, you cannot tell what fill flash they are supposed to fit. If you are careful, you can make 'em work
