I was looking for the 430EX Speedlite and decided the kit was a better value. The flash is great but the Stroboframe Flash Bracket that came with this kit broke the second time I used it and my new flash hit the floor! The connectors are plastic and definitely not sturdy enough to hold the 430EX Speedlite flash.
