For the money, this will give you light. I want to use it for newborn photo sessions so I don't have to have the flash going off in the babies face......The diffuser that goes on front is kinda cheesy and cheap, but it serves the purpose. the stand is inexpensive but works well with this light fixture. There is no light variable, so you could unscrew a lightbulb if you want but otherwise it's either on or off.

Easy to work with, lights do not blind you but
subject area is well lit. Placement of lights is not critical as with some, they light up a wide area very well. Colors come out great and you can have dark and light objects/subjects and get excellent results. What more could you ask for. Cool lights and excelent results.
