Bought a pair of these for video work. Shot some test footage with the first one and it looked so bad I've not unboxed the second one. Color is really yucky, even with custom white balance. Output is very low, wide open with the box on top of the subject and the video still looked like garbage. Would not recommend them.

I specialize in "in home" portraits and this unit is perfect. I purchased my first as a single unit and love it so much I bought a second. It's easy to carry, an I can assemble each softbox setup in under 4 minutes. I understand the 2 light kit comes with a carrying case, but I use a 22x14x8" hardcase (Promaster 995)with customizable foam interior for each light, which holds the head, 5 bulbs, and softbox assembly for easy transport. As for power, I have plenty of light for a family portrait at ISO 400, and could light larger area with reflectors instead of softboxes if needed. Solid professional look and feel. Super easy to use.

Good for small products and for head and shoulder photos. Need to improve method of attaching reflector.

I bought two units for my small photo/video studio in addition to other lighting equipment I have already my studio equipped with. The purchased InterFit lights are inexpensive and very economical. The output is good and softboxes provides a nice soft lighting. Changing the intensity through switching each bulb individually is a great feature. I soon discovered that the company, InterFit, stays behind the products! The rods for the dome (softbox) were made from a carbon fiber material, which unfortunately broke when all lamps were on and operating for a longer time generating some heat. Adorama provided me with the InterFit toll free number. The company immediately responded and sent me rods' replacements within few days. They are made from metal and holds well now. Overall, great products backed by great company. I am very satisfied.
