These are useful for both photography and videography. I have used them for portraits, interviews, and green screen. I like them so much I am thinking about getting a second set. Lightweight, and don't suck too much electricity. The adjustable power settings without changing the color temperature is a great asset.

You have the option of using (your own) different bulbs if you need that too (ie normal tungsten bulbs to match a tungsten ambient indoor light for example) The stands are not super-sturdy, but you can put them on heavier duty stands if you need that. Good value!

The lights provide good lighting when set-up on each side of subject. Lights get warm but not hot. I like the 1000 watt power of the bulbs and the large soft boxes. I am glad I did not buy the smaller 500 watt set-up.
