BULB IS LINEAR AND LONG (ONE FOOT APPROX) IT IS NOT SPIRAL - IT WOULD BE NICE IF IT WERE A SPIRAL (MORE COMPACT) - IT SEEMS AS THOUGH IT COULD BE DAMAGED EASILY. LIGHT OUTPUT IS GOOD.

Spiral Design Would Be Better

The bulbs are much larger (longer) than I thought they would be. A spiral design would be better. It is great to have the light output of these bulbs without the heat. The colors were right on for daylight white balance.

I have seen other commercial bulbs at 85 and 100 watts that are spiral design which makes them a more compact bulb. However they are more expensive and not sure what the color temp is.

GOOD OVERALL PRODUCT.
