i found what seems to be this exact bulb at many other places for much more money. $39.95 seems to be a common price for this thing. its very bright and [$] is a bargain from what i could find online.only problem is the diameter of the base (above the screw in part) is pretty large. in a ProMaster Cool Light 3 in1 i couldnt fit all 4 of these bulbs. the 4 sockets would have needed to be spaced out a little further for all to fit. be sure to check your sockets and how close they are if you plan to use a bunch of these in one fixture. i can still fit 2 of these 85w plus 2 smaller into my fixture.GREAT PURCHASE!

We utilize these for architectural interiors and
indoor video shoots including but not limited to interviews, virtual tours, product photography etc.
Very versatile tool. It balances well with strobe light. We use them with softlighter IIs.

I just bought two of these for video lighting. I put one each, in one of two of those cheap 7 dollar metal bowl like light fixtures sold at the big box hardware stores, and place the behind a big circular diffuser. I am very pleased with the amount and quality of the light provided. For a fraction of the electrical power of my tungsten bulbs, I am getting over 800 watts of light from under 200 watts of electricity. In a much more compact form. I also like the nice white 5600 Kelvin color temperature. I will be adding more of these in the future. for [$] I have over 800 watts of portable video lighting. This product is great for indoor photography when light is an issue. Works great on portraits or even with a camcorder. Great value item!!
