Comments about Norman Norman A400BM-R 400w/s Portable Battery Kit with LH52K-MR UV Modeling Light Flash Head with Pocket Wizard Radio Slave, 5" Reflector, 400B Power Pack, Battery, Charger, Strap:

Location events, Ballrooms, outdoor harsh sun,
Valuable time lost in low light, because of the lack of connecting ( Dots )on the batt.post and
the wire to the flash head.
The built in ( pocket wizard ) in the flash head
does not always trigger.
The dome diffuser that came with the flash head
did not fit. ( Too Loose )
The bracket that allows you to mount the battery
to a lite pole can not be ordered. B&H say's
" discontinued "
The rivited screws that holds the battery to the
strap, are poorly designed and the weight of the
battery will eventually break ,when carrying.
With carefull handiling the flash head develope
an electrical short. The lady at Norman was very
professional and the " fix " was quick, although
I never got back the original box and packageing
that came with the unit with the bar code.
I double packed the unit in the original purchased
box, so that the original box was not damaged.
They told me that they " for some unexplained
reason " threw out the original box with the
bar code.
