I bought the Lightsphere for an event assignment. It worked beautifully! Goodbye strobe frames and sync cords...this unit allowed me to get soft, well-rounded light over a wide variety of focal lengths and subjects.
The only minor gripes I have are the bulkiness(but then so are strobe frames) and the fit on my SB800 is not as precise as I would like. These aside, I'd highly recommend the Lightsphere!
