I purchased this becuase of the fast recycle time. With the other turbo products you are look at around 3 secs. That's too long. I needed something that was fast and this fit the bill.

I use the Quantum Turbo 2x2 battery to power a Quantum T5d-R flash. This turbo unit provides a quick flash recycle rate. On the average about one second or less.

We shoot indoor sports where a flash is always needed. My Turbo 2x2 has flashed over 600 times per charge and still has power for more flashes. We use it to power the Nikon flash only, but it has the capability to power the camera too.

The first one I got was no good but [...] the next one works great you cant win all the time. This is a great system and I will always use it because I think there is none better.

I use my Turbo 2x2 Battery with an Nikon SB800 Speedlight to shoot night football games and also use it for weddings and portraits. I have never been able to run it dead shooting over 600 frames a few times and it is still around 1/2 power level.

I have previously used it when I was shooting with a Fuji S2 Pro to power the camera and Speedlight at the same time. It worked great for that as well.

The only problem I have found with my setup, and it is not the Turbo 2x2 is; The SB800 has to have good batteries (enough juice left to power up and cycle the SB800) for the Turbo 2x2 to provide power to the speedlight. Other than that issue it has worked great. I also use it with an old SB28 occasionally.
