Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I'm still learning when its best to use the product. Its kind of a niche application in that there are only certain times when I would use the LightSphere, and then there are only certain times when I might need to boost the output. However, it does fit the Lightsphere well and I believe it does increase the flash through the sphere.
I like the Lightsphere itself quite a lot, for portraits.
