Perfectly good little piece if plastic. The band that holds it around the flash head is very durable and tight. It's really made for the Olympus FL-50R flash but the wrap cord can be pulled tighter to hold it on the smaller FL-36R. When it's adjusted, the wrap band is no longer symmetrical to the flash head, so when the bounce card is properly placed, the band looks off. Minor criticism, I suppose.

It's amazing how well this works. A larger bounce card would put more light forward, but this seems to be the perfect size to bounce just enough light forward to fill a portrait distance subject (3-12 feet) without either washing out the scene or casting shadows.

I guess my biggest gripe is that this simple, small piece, along with a diffuser, could just as easily come with the flash. That's not just Olympis though who nickels and dimes with these basic flash accessories. That's nothing to do with the product itself which, while being about as simple as things get, is essential to good flash skills. I would get used to something like this before buying some big, expensive, fancy bounce device.

Inexpensive way to make your flash output soft and even. I use it with an Olympus E-520 and FL-36 flash, but it could really work with any DSLR and medium-sized hot shoe flash. And it costs very little. Highly-recommended.
