I use this product when shooting pictures indoors and if I need to take portraits at night outside. Great diffusing and bounce flash effect.

This came with the 580EXII kit that I ordered. Very basic molded plastic. Doesn't fit over the flash head great. I would expect a better fit. When on, I am always worried it will fall off, so I am constantly fussing with it. Since it came with the kit, it was worth getting to me. I would likely not recommend buying this alone, but this is the only diffuser I have experienced thus far.

its totally a super tight fit i have a 580ex-II i tried to squeeze it on and then i was like i dont wanna take this thing off i dunno what to do im looking at the flashpoint model...

I guess it would be OK if your just taking a couple shoots. But for aggressive, fast pace shooting any big movement and it pops off.

I bought this diffuser for my 580EX flash because I thought it was the same as the ones other professionals I've worked with use. However, it loosely fits the flash & VERY easily falls off. Don't buy this brand unless you want to tape it down.
