What I like about this hot-shoe is that it is removable. You can then use shoe-less flash heads like the Norman LH2 with your CB Jr bracket. My CB Jr can accomodate two of these hot-shoes, so I purchased an extra one. Now I can place two flash heads on the bracket when I need extra power. Or even use the extra hotshoe to hol a Pocket Wizard. Overall it is a very well built hot-shoe, but it's not as easy trying to slip a flash head onto it as it is with other brackets. It takes a little practice and patience.

If you use Custom Brackets, this is the way to go. It won't twist and is extremely secure. the flash foot is actually clamped in place with maximum contact surface area. While they are designed specifically for the CB Junior brackets, they can be modified for a variety of applications.
