I have used this on a 5D Mark 2. It does make it a little tricky to manipulate the on/off switch. However, I rarely manipulate that switch when using a flash bracket anyway. I'm still not sure that it is totally necessary for best results from a bracket.

DOESN'T fit EOS 5D Mark II

Comments about Stroboframe Stroboframe Camera Anti-Twist Plate f/Canon EOS-1, EOS-1N, EOS-3, 300-EOS EOS 10D, EOS Digital Rebel, EOS 1Ds & Nikon D2H/X:

The lip of the plate partially blocks access to the On/Off switch at the lower edge of the camera back. This will be unacceptable to most users (including myself.) Tiffen (Stroboframe) stated to me by phone that this product was not fully tested with the new 5D Mark II. They apparently do not have another plate planned, as camera models "change too quickly.". Consequently, if you must have this plate to use your Stroboframe successfully, you will need to modify the plate by cutting away part of the lip with a grinder or saw.
