I actually used this to add a hot shoe mount to a project I built, and it worked very well for that. It worked well for it's intended purpose as well.

Tried with Pocket Wizard Plus and it couldn't trigger the flash. Maybe it is not designed for this one, only PC cord?

Well, I use this item on Nikon D80 nd Fuji S2 (actualy, S2 already has PC connecter but i want to safe the worn out on it)connect to Studio flash. It works just fine. I don't have any problem with it. And It 's a cheap hotshoe adapter compare with the Nikon pc adapter.

The hot shoe saved the flash capability

I purchased a Minalta XE-7 body that had a malfunctial side receptical for a flash attachment. Instead of a $[...] repair, [...] the ahoe adapter that solved the problem.

It keeps on working, and working.

Cheap, quite, simple and reliable! What else can you expect? It perfectly adapts my Nikon D70s to my studio lights (pc connection).

Used it twice and than it stopped functioning, it's not owrth the money. [...] I was completely disappointed with this product. Save your money and buy a better model.
