Perhaps using a velcro band around the flash will add enough thickness to the flash head to enable it to stay put. Im not sure of this as I already threw the darn thing away due to frustration. I would have probably lost it anyway because it could have ended up falling off somewhere!
OTHERWISE NOT A GOOD FIT FOR THE METZ 58 AF-1.

Fits my Nikon Speedlight 25 like a glove. Works well.

The FAFD70 is stated as fitting the Metz 58 AF-1 flash unit -- it does not. It is possible to force it onto the flash head but it then simply pops off of its own accord. The flash head has no detents to hold the diffuser, so the diffuser must fit properly to be useful.
