Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint II 320 Monolight Kit, 150 Watt Second, One Monolight Kit with 10' Air Cushioned Light Stand and 24" x 36" Softbox:

When I was JSO I bought these. I was a little iffy since they are on the cheap side but I'm impressed. They are a long lasting product. The light is a bit cooler than I expected but that's easy to counteract.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint II 320 Monolight Kit, 150 Watt Second, One Monolight Kit with 10' Air Cushioned Light Stand and 24" x 36" Softbox:

I'm pretty impressed. When I first bought 3 of these lights I expected them to only last a year or so for the price however I'm going on year three. The temp is a little on the cooler side but for those needing a flash set up in a pinch this does quite well.

The only thing I regret is the lack of a battery pack to use the lights on location when power is not available.

Comments about Flashpoint Flashpoint II 320 Monolight Kit, 150 Watt Second, One Monolight Kit with 10' Air Cushioned Light Stand and 24" x 36" Softbox:

It seems to be a good product for the price, alot of people I hear use it with not problems, but I was so unlucky with this unit that I baught.
The slave function does not work, and the biggest problem is that I cant fire the flash with any wireless trigger for some odd reason, I have baught new triggers, I tested many others, low and high voltage triggers also. but no luck with it, at all. It looks mine is faulty and something is wrong inside it and I wish it can be fixed!
Though I can still fire the flash with the test button.
Still I have the softbox and the stand, I can use it again for another flash, which is not bad at all.

I picked up a pair of these kits a few weeks ago and absolutely love them! I was debating between the Flashpoint's and Alien Bee's...I have to say I'm glad I went with the Flashpoint...the price is less than half of what I would pay with the Alien Bee's but the quality is still great. The 320m's are really sturdy...metal housing, etc. The tripod that came with it was actually really nice...air cushioned and well built (was expecting a cheapo one to be included in the kit...but was pleasantly surprised). The soft box was kind of a pain to put together...mainly because there weren't any instructions. Speaking of instructions...the instructions for the actual strobes were a joke...just go to strobist[@] and learn how to use a flash the right way.Definitely get the 4 channel remote trigger...for $30 you can't go wrong...it's so nice to not trip over cords in the studio. My only gripe would be that the only package they offer is only with umbrellas...Bottom line for the price these things are amazing! Get it...you won't be sorry!
