I wrote this review to inform those of you that have never used a larger flash system, that to operate it, you'll want to use your flash to trigger these flashes to shoot. The sync cables weren't even neccesary for a Digital Nikon D100, the flash alone triggered them to fire.
Just a good heads up. It works great (once you get over freaking out if it works with your camera, only to realize that it does) (we've only used it indoors, I can't speak to other uses yet.)
I recently purchased the EX 150 it feels pretty solid and for home use its great. Its aslo a great starter for the price and has a good amount of power. The stands are very nice and light weight. A downfall it comes in a cardboard box and thats what you have to store it in, so I bought a case. I also tested it out with my Nikon D200 which there may be a problem with the polarity they do not fire all of the time maybe 1 of 10 fails. I'm working on getting a new cable from the company they have been great. I would say for the price one of the best choices I've made.
