This is a plastic snoot. If your lights run hot this will melt. I adjusted it to high light a specific a few minutes later I noticed it was not in the same place. When looking at it, it had melted and moved. Be careful if you choose this product.

The budget lights run hot, this is plastic. If you have this on the model light for more than a few minutes you can notice the light changing direction as the snoot is melting. either get a metal one of be careful how long it is on the light if you use the modelling light option. Once set up and if using the strobe. It is fine. Just, get the metal one and forget about the hassle.

Comments about Adorama Adorama Snoot for the Budget Flash Monolights.:
I bought the economy monolight to use as a hair light, heat from the modeling lamp melted a large hole in the plastic snoot rendering it useless. Don't waste your money on this.

This snoot started getting hot after 3 shots and i had to let it cool down a bid. did't fell comfortable to continue shooting for fear of damage to light and combustion.

Comments about Adorama Adorama Snoot for the Budget Flash Monolights.:
The first time I used it to shoot senior portraits and the snoot just melted within 10 minutes of being on the studio flash. I only had it 4 maybe 4 days and called Adorama. They didn't hesitate to send me another one and I will try to use it to review the light direction and then turn off the modeling light and see if that helps.

Comments about Adorama Adorama Snoot for the Budget Flash Monolights.:
The snoot does what it's was intened to do.
However, it is not a snug fit on the light. If you intend to point the ligh down 45 degrees or more you better get a metal adjustable ring clap as I did or the snoot will fall off.
WARNING: If you put the snoot on you strobe and the modeling light is on the snoot gets extremely hot. You can get burned--be careful.
