Comments about Smith-Victor Smith Victor Color Effects Rainbow Filter Pack with Six 12" x 12" Gel Filters.:
These gels are fantastic. Use either a gel strap or rubber bands to attach them to your strobe, make sure that you leave some space between the gel and the bulb, and fire away. I am not the kind of photographer that appreciates a gel on a light pointing directly at my subject, so I use these to colors of other objects in the frame. The primary concern I always have with gels is melting. To that end, after about 100 flashes with the darkest blue gel in the kit, I have been greatly satisfied, with not even a concern of overheating.

This color pack is very good. It doesn't get hot no matter how long you leave it on the light. Very flexiable to cover the reflector of the light from any angle. The only thing I can say to make it better is to include some sort of clamp for it to attah to the light.
