I was not able to download a manual, nor was there one with the unit. Most features are easily implemented, fortunately.
use w/three Canon external flashes, very simple to use.
The only weak points of this controller is the distance and the fact that it has to be in line of sight for controlling the flashes. The controls are pretty simple and the TTL functions make up for the distance.
a great product, the downside to it is that you need to have a line of sight with the flashes, or you need to be close to them. the ability to adjust your lights right from your camera easily makes up for it though. I shoot a lot of skating, and these have helped decrease my set up time dramatically, because I don't have to worry about wires messing up the skaters a great product!

This is the perfect addition to a couple of Canon Speedlights. I have a 430ex and a 580ex and with this transmitter I've gained quite a bit of versatility.
Going wireless to my flash units has been a big plus. I don't have to deal with wires getting in the way or not being long enough.

You can adjust the remote flash output right on the camera.

I use it to remotely trigger my 550ex which I locate at the side of the track some 10-15 metres from where I am. This way I get extra reach and ilumination the 100m bend while taking photos beyond the finish line.
Some of our athletic venues don't have very goodlights.

I have used this product for about 2 months now and have found it to be best used when I need to have the flash off camera. I have used it with the 580 and also 420 canon flashes
