I love the studio. I wish that [...] discription stated that the camera stand was not intended for SLR cameras. The instructions that you get with the product do state this, but it is too late. I would have paid $20 less and got the same item without the camera stand.
THIS WAS THE BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE.INSTEAD OF PAYING A PROFESSIONAL $50/HR TO TAKE MY PHOTOS, I PAYED [$] FOR A LIFETIME OF PROFESSIONAL PHOTOS.

I've been looking for something like this a long time! I've built home made rigs that got the job done but were bulky, clumsy and difficult to store and transport.
As an eBay selling assistant, now I can travel to the customer's home and shoot their items quickly and professionally. Yes, the camera tripod is wimpy if you're using an older 35mm camera. I'm shooting digital and use a standard tripod sitting on the floor with the light box on a table or other elevated surface...works great!!

This product works surprisingly well. I use it to photograph auction items as well as items I shoot for catalog insertion. The results are very consistent and the two small lights are more than adequate. For under 100.00 it is very useful.

use it for pictures of small objects to use on e-bay
Great idea and portability, but the camera stand is too flimsy to hold a heavy SLR camera like my Minolta 7D. But the studio will fit on a table top, so a regular tripod can be used.
