Comments about Creative Light Creative Light 3' Recessed Front, RF Series, Octagonal Softbox for Flash or Continuous Lights up to 500 watts.:

I have owned Chimera for many years and saw this product and decided to give it a try for the money. The rods do not stay in their slots as easily as the Chimera and Photoflex boxes. Chimera and Photoflex rods have a slot running down the whole length of the softbox but the Creative Light has a little string in the middle and a small foot at the end/outside of the box. Just a bad design to me after having used the other boxes for many years. Takes longer to set up and breakdown in my opinion. If it were going to stay together in a studio situation it would be great but for location set-up and breakdown it is a pain in the [*]. My 2cents...
