I gave this a lower rating because the screw mount is not the larger size which I need for the Calumet stands that I have. I don't remember if that was mentioned in the ad or not. If you're depending on this in all kinds of circumstances, you might want to invest in one that is more sturdy. But for the casual photographer, it will probably meet his needs.

I recommend it for any reflector smaller than 52".
I attached my 52" reflector but it doesn't hold it strong enough, just replaced the ball head with a swivel and everything was great.
