The softbox actually is for a Lumedyne, Norman, or Quantum.
I use it with my Lumedyne kit and the thing is pretty good. It won't light a large group of 25 people but it wasn't made for that. It's a surprisingly good size. Not too large at all, and surprisingly effective. You can take it anywhere without any large softbox hassles because it opens like an umbrella. It's a 5 second setup to open and attach, probably faster than an umbrella. Great product! :-D

Note this unit is only for Lumedyne and Norman 200/400 battery pack strobes. The adapter rings shown on the same page are for monolights.
This is a well made unit for its designed use.
Adorama should check and correct the web description.
I'm surprised to see this item still listed. I received the softbox with a Hensel and Photogenic adapters but there is no way to use them together. The softbox had a 2 1/2 " opening on the back yet the adapters are as shown.
No one had an explanation for me, so it went back. too bad as it's a nice size.
