For the most part, the material selection is very classy and modern. However, the handles are in very poor taste. They look like brushed metal, but are made of a plastic, coated with a metallic finish. I noticed the metallic finish can wear off. This makes them look and feel cheap relative to the rest of the case. They should of either used solid metal, or solid plastic.
The rest of the case delivers what you would expect in a high end portfolio binder.
Another note, is that the case is big relative to its page size. This could be a plus or a minus depending on your preference.
I love my portflio, it was shipped in 2 boxes so it was not damnaged durring shipping.
The handles occasionally stick when sliding in and out; but the important part was having the pages not get caught when showing work.
Its a tiny bit larger / heavier then other portfolios in the same dimentions, with a 1/2 in to 1 inch border of "wasted space" on the 3 zipper sides.
Its a beautiful portflio made with classy materials.
