Yes, I listed "extremely sensitive" as both a pro and a con. This little guy is almost overly sensitive which can be good if there's absolutely still air and the recorder can be placed somewhere where it doesn't have to be touched while recording. It badly needs to be supplied with some sort of little foam windscreen to help with air movement noises. I'd also would have rather it didn't stick up so high above the recorder body. I'm sure Olympus had a purpose for this, but it does make the unit hard to fit in a small compact carry case and give it a rather unsightly appearance.
Excellent recording of conversations in lecture hall and busy restaurant. Recorder set on HQ setting and positioned in center of table of 8 people with axis of speaker parallel to long axis of table. Clear conversation record with good directional separation. Microphone on a cord also eliminates all recorder noise. Remarkable sound recordings from a small, compact device.
