I bought this for my husband's business, last X-mas. Ink is wonderful, lasts FOREVER, compared to my Epson. Make 100's of copies and print pages on 1 cartridge. Copies in color very well or b/white. Photos print great, but SCANNING IS NOT GREAT. This is why I gave this 4 stars. You can scan letters and business cards, but Photos do not scan very well. If you need a photo scanner, look elsewhere. Prints great photos in comparison to my Epson Photo R300 photo printer. I have printed 8 X10's (photos and photo magnets)of very good quality (4 star pictures) and also 5 X 7's. You will SAVE ON INK, buying this. It takes up some space, so I bought a printer table for it, be sure to have a sturdy surface, because it will rock a flimsy table. GREAT GIFT!!

Highly rated by a variety of sources, it does not disappoint. Set-up was delayed when a not obviously named "door" was left open. Document print quality, even at fast(est) speed is excellent, and photo printing is on a par with dedicated machines. Advanced scanning is just that, and one touch scanning may be too simplistic for some. A transparency scanner would make this machine perfect.
