This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing camera i have ever seen. it is so slick it is not even funny. The entire back of the camera is a huge LCD screen. WOW! It organises the pictures and give you review options like a Powerpoint presentation right there on the camera. BUT...I have problems. What matters most was not impressive to me at all...PICTURE QUALITY. After putting the images to the computer i was wondering what went wrong. Apparantly nothing went wrong, they simply put all their effort on looks and features and paid little attention to picture quality. What a shame. The controls could have been better...you would think of going into menu to change things like picture quality...nope, there is a "special button" on top for that. I keep forgetting that. I guess after time i will get used to that.
I ended up purchasing a second one for a friend who wanted a simple camera with sleek looks and really compact. To him it seems looks were a little more important than picture quality. I would recommend you look for a camera with about 3 megapixels for about the same price, where the money was invested in picture quality and not a big screen and fancy controls options. i think 5 megapixels is unnecessary for a simple point-and-shoot camera. You need only 3mp really. (i still love the camera though... i have a Kodak z7950 which is not that compact but much better picture quality and also a Rebel XT for when i'm feeling down).
this camera was purhased for a relative who does not want to spend a lot of time learning just to take good pictures. this camera meets the mark perfectly. It has a great LCD, well laid out controls and is very intuitive to use. The only complaint I can think of is that the controls are fairly small (due to the large LCD size) so people whith less than nimble fingers may have a bit of trouble with them.
The flash works suprizingly well for a small point and shoot. the picture quality is on par with, or better than, comperable models. The finish is very nice on this camera, and it fits in a purse very nicely without taking up much room.

I was looking for a small camera to fit my pocket, when not carring around my main camera, and purchased the V10.
I have not been disappointed, it is a great camera with a superb ISO range, which is great when shoting low light like concerts etc..The results are first class for a camera of this size! The optics are excellent with a sufficent 3.4X Zoom. The large Screen is excellent, especially for playback.
This is a great camera which I use as my secondary one!
