The best #### charger that I have owned. I use the Digital 2500 mAH batteries with good results in Pentax K100D, e.g., I get over 600 flash pictures over several days of use without recharging. When they do run low, 8 - 15 minutes and you're back in business. The special PRO-H 8-minute 2000 mAH batteries charge fast but don't last nearly as long.

This thing actually recharges batteries (NiMH _only_) in 15 minutes. The fine print sayeth "to 80%" but certainly enough to use, as opposed to the "fast charger" I almost bought until I figured out that fast meant "8 hours" to those people. The only improvement would be to have some indication of when 100% is reached, but since it's a true smart charger, it won't fry batteries left in it indefinitely. With a brick (20) of the very reasonably priced 2500 mAh batteries I've kept my camera and flash fed with fresh-charged batteries without trouble. Can't change batteries underwater! One tip - mark batteries as "sets" and use them as "sets". Since the charger itself runs from 12V, you can use it in the car! Also - unlike some, it can charge just one battery, or 3 (or 2 or 4)
