The problem I have with this is that the power cord that came with it isn't working. I had to use a power cord from another adapter that I have in order to get it to work. The main reason I wanted it was to have a lighter weight adapter for travel. Since the power cord for the old one is the heavy part, it hasn't benefitted me at all. I'd have returned it but I received it late after I'd already gone on a trip and so I thought it was too late to return.

I use these to recharge 2700mAH rechargeable AA's for my Nikon flashes. I keep quartets of batteries together and charge them 8 a time using two of these chargers. The chargers work fine, generally taking four to six hours to charge a quartet. The included batteries were dead, so you might consider a different product. These chargers also work fine for AAA's.

I charge these with the 4-battery charger, SKU #CTAMCACDC. I use them in my four Nikon SB-24 flashes. The batteries work fine so far, I haven't used them very long. Rechargeables in general recycle flashes faster than disposable batteries do, but they don't last as long. For the planet's sake, of course, as well as your wallet's, you should use rechargeables.

batteries seem to have some problem, sometimes they stop working until you rotate them around their contacts.

The first one or two times the batteries had VERY short life. After two complete charges/discharges they worked great. Don't give up on them too early.
