I just got a Canon A710IS that literally eats AA alkaline batteries over a couple of days of photography. The Sony 2700MaH batteries last for weeks. Although it takes a several hours for the BCG34HRMF4 to recharge I always have a fresh pair available The only thing I wish for is that you could keep the batteries in the charger over several months without disconnecting the AC. Considering the price and what you get I would buy this again
