Comments about Sigma Sigma 20-40mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical DG DF AutoFocus Wide Angle Zoom Lens with Hood for Canon EOS Cameras:

Purchased this lens to document political demonstrations i.e., for photojournalism. So far I've only used it once. It's a bit slow to autofocus and it would be nicer if the lens was lighter with a range from 20-75 instead of 20-40. What I like about it is the wide angle with the constant aperature.

Comments about Sigma Sigma 20-40mm f/2.8 EX Aspherical DG DF AutoFocus Wide Angle Zoom Lens with Hood for Canon EOS Cameras:

This lens is great. I original bought it for Landscape photography, but have founds its even better as a model portrait lens. Very stable and produces great results. A little heavy, but built like a tank, very reliable. I use it with a Canon 20D digital which has a lens X factor of 1.6. Great match up of camera and Lens, and a lot less expensive than the Canon lens. I also own a 24-70mm Sigma f/2,8 lens, but find the 20-40mm works a little better. Highly recommended.
