Comments about Sigma Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DG Macro IF Auto Focus Wide Angle Telephoto Macro Zoom Lens for Pentax AF.:
My previous Sigma 28-300 was stolen, and I replaced it. I use it with Pentax K10D and K20D cameras. This is a great general-purpose lens giving a wide zoom range. It is a bit large, and when hanging around your neck with the lens down, the weight will sometimes slowly slide the zoom out -- not a big thing. I have gotten some great shots, good focus, with no distorting artifacts.

I call it my "travelen buddy" as I not only shoot with a K10D, I also use my Pentax PZ1p. Very useful and sharp on both. It's weight allows me to carry both when I go into the field.
