Comments about Sigma Sigma 2x EX DG APO Tele-Converter AF for the Maxxum & Sony Alpha Mount.:
It saves a good chunk of change when using it with a Sigma 70/200mm 2.8 lens.Instead of caring an additional long lens. It would be nice for Sigma to get of their BUTT and and release the new HSM teleconverter.

I use like a 2x Teleconverter for my existing Sony A700 and lens. This 2x tele-converter will not insert between my A700 and lenses. There are two entirely different mounts on each end. I had to return it, since it does not fit between the A700 Body and Lense. They telll me it is not compatible. My question: Is there a 2x tele-converter for my A700 and Lenses. Thank you. perdue71[@]

Only used a few times but works just as the specs say it should. Construction quality is great. Sigma makes great stuff these days.
