This is a fun lens that really brings in the scene. So far I have only taken a few pictures with this lens. In the pictures I have taken I haven't noticed vignetting even when at 10mm. Vertical lines, however, get a bit crazy but I like it.

Good wide angle lens. Have taken some excellent shots with this lens on a D300S. Out of all my lens choices, it seems to end up on my camera the most when I head out to the hiking trails. I have even used this on my D700 with some image editing to get a really wide perspective.

This lens is tack sharp! Minimal distortion when using the 10mm, the 3.5 gives you a nice soft background for portraits/small groups. This is my favorite lens hands down; have it on one of my D90's.

I purchased this lens when I had to send my Nikon 14-24mm lens in for repairs, and had a few important shoots coming up. I planned to sell it once the 14-24 was returned. I hastily tested it, finding it to be soft in the corners and soft wide open - an above average lens but not nearly as good as my beloved 14-24.

One of my important shoots was the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk - I won my walk's competition with an image from this lens, at 10mm. Color me impressed!

I'm so impressed, I'm keeping this lens. It's an excellent wide-angle lens for DX-format cameras, at least as good as any other DX-format ultra-wide-angle lens.
