this lens is a steal for the price! focuses fast on my A200 (old gen entry level), holding up well after on year of consistent usage, sharp immages, great macro capability, good wide angle, supersharp stopped down... nothing even comes clos in this price range

Good lense, overall. AF is not as good as with Canon lense. Will not focus well in low light condition (used with 30D).
