Produces great sound with a decent amount of volume for such a small unit. Biggest complaint is that you need to charge the battery through a computer

The Sandisk Sansa e280 is a pretty good MP3 player, but you should make sure that you have the latest firmware installed. You can download software from the Sandisk web site that will let you check the firmware, and update it if necessary. Audio playback is quite good, and managing MP3 / WMA files is pretty easy. Handling video is harder; it has to be converted with the supplied video conversion software, and this can be a slow process. There's also a lack of video bookmarking, which is a bit of a pain. Overall, it's a good player for the money.
