This is the best for the big lens, Great when you don't want to carry around a large tripod.
Sporting events, hiking and backpacking, this is a must have at a great price.

When space and weight is an issue, this works great. Not as strong as some of the other monopods, but sufficent.

I have used this monopod for both video and still photography. It helped to eliminate shaking and blurred images. I find it easy to transport in my luggage and lightweight enough for hiking.
