I thought that I was going to have to spend much more,[...] The monopod is sturdy, quick to adjust, and will hold anything that I will ever want to use it with. Definitely recommend unless you think it's worth a higher cost to save a little weight. I attach it to a backpack and a few ounces won't make a difference.
