This monopod, my first, is a good stabilizer for my 400mm lens. It will allow me to take my time to compose and get a clear shot with minimum unwanted camera movement. At the same time it allows for quick and easy manipulation to pan and zoom at will.

Admittedly this was kind of an impulse buy, sight-unseen. However, I am very pleased with the appearance, strong construction and overall utility of this monopod. It is not the lightest, especially with the medium ballhead which I use, but I definitely think it is a good value, that it will hold up for the long-term, and provide me with the intended utility and stability that I need for fast portable shooting. Very good product.

This is an excellent monopod for the price. It isn't remarkably light, but it's good enough. The joints are solid and smooth, and open/close quickly.

I have had the monopod for a month now and really like it. I use a Canon 30D with a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 lens and it works perfectly. The clamps are nice and strong and stay put. The height is perfect as I am 5' 10" and I don't have to extend it all of the way to stay standing straight up. The quality and finish are great, I am very happy with the product.
